If the result of your Income Tax return is to be paid and you do not want to pay the full amount now, remember that you can opt for the installment plan offered by the Tax Office in the tax return itself. In that case, you can pay 60% of the amount due by June 30. As for the remaining 40%, you can pay it by November 5,2026, without interest or providing guarantees.

However, keep in mind that you can also defer the Income Tax payment like other taxes and request a longer deferral. In that case:

• The deferral will no longer be free, and in general, you will have to pay a late payment interest (currently 4.0625% per year).

• If the amount you wish to defer exceeds 50,000 euros (either alone or combined with other tax debts that you already have deferred), you will need to provide guarantees.
